XC Regional Meet 2021

On October 23rd, Raelee ran her last regional meeting with her closest XC friends. Both teams qualified for state!  Raelee ran her heart out, ending the race with quite a scare. Male’s coach felt the need to call an ambulance, and we didn’t disagree. She had lost feeling in her extremities, was dizzy and just completely depleted. We sat in the ambulance for quite some time as they monitored her heart rate and oxygen levels. It took her a long time to recover, but she finally did. How she manages to make herself get out there and run, knowing how she is going to feel, is beyond me. I just can’t imagine.
