Johnson's Annual Derby Parade

Every year, the Kentucky Derby Festival hosts the Pegasus Parade downtown Louisville. The same day, Johnson's (the girls' daycare) throws a little parade of their own.

Each child is asked to create a float, with the help of their parents, to use in the parade.

This year, the girls really wanted an "ocean" theme. Marty and I are not the most artistic folks around, but the girls still thought it was super cool.

The parade took place on Thursday, April 29th...

Jordyn Poses for Dance Pictures...

Every year, Connie's Performing Arts hosts dance pictures for all classes of all ages... this year, Jordyn was included!

Raelee and Jordyn will be "twinkling their toes" this June in Connie's annual recital at the Iroquois Amphitheater. Stay tuned!

Balloon Glow 2010!

The Kentucky Derby Festival is always an exciting time here in Louisville. We have attended the annual Balloon Glow since the girls were babies and really enjoy the time together.

This year, we met Aaron, Melissa, Josh and Alecea at Wicks to partake in high "carb" items in order for Aaron and Alecea to be charged and ready for the Mini Marathon Saturday morning, before heading over to the fairgrounds for the glow.
