Spring Break Week!

The girls have really enjoyed their week off from school so far!  They spent Sunday and Monday nights with Mamaw and Papaw where they headed to Mammoth Cave and went to the movies to see "Mirror Mirror."  Tonight, they spent their first of two nights with Grammy & Poppy and headed to Great Aunt Janie and Uncle Ralph's house for supper with their cousins, Rachael, Gabe, Christopher and Chloe.  I'm sure they will have a blast. Mommy has been working hard to finish up school work so when I get the girls back on Thursday evening, I have lots of time to spend with them.  Daddy and I have been enjoying our one-on-one time with little man.  Tonight we headed to the clubhouse to the park to let him play.  He LOVES the swings and going down the slides, head first.  While Daddy ran, we went in for a quick visit. It looks like Mason wanted to join daddy on the treadmill.

Egg Hunts and Pretty Clothes

The girls helped Mommy and Daddy serve in the nursery at church during the 10:15 service.  We attended the 11:30 service.  After church, we headed to Grammy & Poppy's for lunch and egg hunts with cousins.  The kids had a great time!  Raelee found 49 eggs and made around $13!  Jordyn didn't make out so well with the cash, but still found over 20 eggs and had a great time.  From there we headed to Mamaw and Papaw's for an egg hunt and a clue game where the girls had to guess their prize before they received it. The clues were hidden inside the eggs, along with candy.  They had so much fun!  Mason caught on pretty quickly with the whole concept of finding eggs then putting them in his basket.  Next year, we'll conduct more formal boot camp training to get him officially ready. :-)

Easter Morning

The kids had a fantastic Easter!  Mason woke up to a new outfit, Sesame Street books, and a Buzz Lightyear action figure and toddler gummies.  The girls each received new outfits, a two-person jump rope, decals for their bedroom walls and of course, candy.  As you can see, everyone was very surprised!

Jordyn's Spring Program

Jordyn had her Kindergarten Spring program last Thursday evening.  She looked adorable!  All the kids marched in and modeled their homemade hats.  Following the program, we visited her classroom, which of course she was very proud to share with us.  Later, Mamaw and Papaw treated us to ice cream!  YUMMY!
