Big Splash Adventure 2018

What a great way to kick off the kids first week of summer than to head just an hour and a half up the road to French Lick to their indoor water park. We stayed in the Pirate’s Paradise room, including bunk beds, a king-size bed, and a sleeper sofa. We joined Trish, Dan, and their kids for an awesome time. The kids did slide after slide as the park wasn’t crowded so lines were very short. They also did laser tag and indoor glow-in-the-dark mini golf. Mason’s Field Day

One bonus with the kids being in school longer than mommy was that I was able to wash windows, paint a wall in the kitchen, and collect things to sell that we no longer needed. In addition, I was able to volunteer at Mason’s field day. He had such a great time with his classmates (best buddy Nash) and surely will miss Mrs Edwards dearly. He has already been assigned to Mrs Murphy’s 2nd grade class and he’s definitely excited. Can’t believe how much this little man has matured this year!  

2017-2018 School Year Ends!

It’s so hard to believe this school year is over. With the kids being in though until June 8th due to snow days and flooding, the last day couldn’t come fast enough. Mason grew leaps and bounds in reading and math and the girls ended with excellent grades. We are so proud of their hard work and dedication.
