Time with Cousins

After the race, mamaw brought Claire up to spend the night and have some fun with the girls. Mason was in Etiqn with Grammy and Poppy at a car show with Jackson. It was a full weekend but a great one. The girls painted sun catchers and toe nails, followed with the movie Tangled. Mason must have had a fun day too, based on these pics...

 

 

 

XC is in Motion

Raelee had her first official race this season as part of East on Saturday morning at 8:30; the Tiger Run. There were 322 6th, 7th and 8th grade girls in her race. She did amazing. She got a great start off the line and stuck with it!  She placed 70th!  While she was disappointed in her place, we encouraged her by giving her some reminders as to how far she's come in such a short time. More to come from this 72 lb tough girl!
