Christmas 2016
As always, we left out cookies and milk for Santa, and attempted to head to bed early. This was the first year we can remember where the kids were too excited to sleep. They were up much later than normal! They woke to so many things they really wanted. Bikes, a PS3, nFinity backpack, Batman jail, monogrammed shirts, Nike Roshe all around and a Chromebook for big sis were some of the highlights. They were so excited! We headed to Grandma Boo Boo's in honor of her passing and spending one final Christmas at her house before it's sold.
Merry Christmas Eve 2016
Like every year, we went to Mamaw and Papaw's house for brunch, special family time and presents of course! The family is really growing as there were two more babies added to the bunch this year. Cannon and Kimber seemed to enjoy themselves too! Mason received some much-needed camping gear and the girls favorites had to be their cowgirl boots. They are legit! Pure joy!

Seeing "Sing"
The kids had a great time seeing the movie "Sing" yesterday. It was funny, sweet and had awesome music! We enjoyed the new Xscape theater which had reclining seats the younger ones could barely reach. Our elf, Sam, was along for the ride in his special transportation device so Mason could hold him. It was so sweet!

Mason's Solo Debut as Rudolph
Marty and I are still blown away that Mason sang Rudolph all by himself Friday morning at his Christmas breakfast. He totally rocked it out! So proud of him!
Raelee's 2016 XC Banquet
We are so proud of Raelee's work ethic, determination and the competitive edge she found this XC season. Coach Lesher, during dinner, said that "she will be great." He says that no one will out work her. As a parent, you want your kids to be happy, to be faithful and to also understand what it means to work hard. Last night she earned the "Outstanding Performer" award for her work ethic, attitude and performance. She was beaming...and so were we!

WSF!
Jordyn's GymTyme Peach team did an amazing job at WSF at the fairgrounds this past weekend. Her stunts held and they did win best choreography, but placed 2nd overall, missing their bid to Chicago. Still so proud of how she did!
Mason's Field Trip to The Galt House
Mommy took off to spend some time with little man last week. We had a great time on his field trip to The Galt House. Between Kaleidoscope, seeing Santa and a little train ride, it was a full day. That evening Jordyn had cheer practice at the fairgrounds for WSF the next day and Mason had his winter festival at school. Busy!

Losing Boo Boo
We lost precious Grandma Boo Boo on Saturday evening, November 12th. She was so loved by her six wonderful children, 13 grandchildren and too many great grandchildren to count. She will be missed but always remember in our hearts.
Mason Takes a Ride to the North Pole!
Mason and mommy enjoyed a special night on the Bardstown Dinner Train as we boarded the Polar Express for dinner, dessert and hot chocolate of course. We had a great time with Mr. And Mrs. Clause. It was one to remember.
Jordyn's First Out of Town Competition
Jordyn, Raelee, mommy and daddy all headed to Cincinnati for the national cheer competition, Rumble in the Jungle. This time her team came to win. They did amazing and walked away with a national title. So proud of her hard work! Next up...WSF here in Louisville then Indy in January!
Raelee Makes the Team!
Raelee was so excited this week when she learned that she made the Mt Washington Middle volleyball team. She has worked hard learning this sport and enjoying some practice opportunity with her AAU team, playing for the Sharks. We're excited to watch her as practices start next week, games beginning after the new year!
Mason's First Camp Out
Mason and d addy hit their first camp out as a scout. They hiked, roasted marshmallows and camped. Mason loves it! On his wish list for Christmas is all camping gear!

Halloween 2016
As always, we headed to Josh and Alecea's for a night of trick or treating and Candy Swap 2016. It's a bummer that Halloween this year, and for the next several years to come, will be in a school night but we definitely made the most of it. The kids made out pretty well too! As a side note, rules to Candy Swap change from year to year to suit Uncle Josh. 😏
Trick or Treat at the Zoo
Mamaw and her crew had a great time at the zoo. This super hero themed crowd had a blast. It's been a long time since we had been and it's changed for the better. What a great evening!
Jordyn's First Cheer Competition
Jamfest 2016! While GymTyme Peach was the only team in their division, we were still proud of their performance and level of difficulty. Way to go!!!
Off to Cincy this weekend!

Jordyn's KPREP Scores
Jordyn never ceases to amaze us. Between straight As first grading period and Proficient in Math and Language Mechanics on state testing in 4th grade. She is a rock star! She and many others were honored at Tully yesterday for their achievement.
Mason Has Halloween in the Halls
We couldn't miss Mason's First Halloween in the Halls at Crossroads. He wasn't feeling his Batman costume due to the uncomfortable muscles. He also wasn't into the mask for Flash. But, he looked adorable nonetheless. The girls were excellent super heros too! Josh, Kennedy and Davis joined him too and hit up the DQ for ice cream after.
What a XC Season!
We have been amazed at the progress Raelee has made this season. In the Noe Invitational she placed 6th and state didn't disappoint either! Out of 348 runners, our girl placed 47th with a 13:39 3k. We are so proud of her hard work, but mostly the person she is. Can't wait until next season!
