Raelee Ends 6th Grade with a Bang!
Like all challenges, Raelee tackled a new middle school, in a new county, head on. She made so many friends, involved herself in activities and worked hard to keep honor roll all year despite taking four, very challenging, AP classes. As I sit and reflect on the young lady she is growing up to be, words that come to mind are compassionate, humble, kind, smart, driven and hard working. We are so proud of this girl! She received a certificate for maintaining all As and Bs all year (ending with final grades of all As, an 89 in Reading and an 86 in Math). She also was honored with two citizenship awards out of the entire 6th grade in Technology with Mr Murphy and in Social Studies with Mr Shores. Those are what made mama most proud.
Raelee and Amy were in all AP classes together and grew to become very good friends.
Lily is Raelee's closest buddy who was only in a couple classes with her this year but enjoyed time on the volleyball court together. They were in the same boat, entering 6th new to the county. Such sweet girls!
Mason Gets Promoted!
This little guy has amazed us at how much he's grown; not just in height with a couple less teeth, but also socially and academically. While you never mean to underestimate your children, we were concerned at how he may adapt to full days of learning, without naps, and without mommy. Furthermore, would he work his hardest and always give his best?
He exceeded all expectations ending the year with nearly all 4s, exceeding grade level requirements in almost all categories. Thanks to Mrs. Edwards for helping him grow as a student and as a friend. Her kindness and high expectians pushed him to try harder, doing amazing in Math and leaving kindergarten reading. He was awarded the "Lifesaver Award" for his helpful nature and dependability. Way to go our now, 1st grader!
GymTyme End-of-Year Banquet
These GymTyme Peaches had an amazing season. From the first competition with stunts falling everywhere, to ending with getting the rings for winning overall Grand US Final Champs, they all grew into amazing young athletes. We were so proud when they announced Jordyn winning the MVP title out of a team of 19 young ladies. This supports our point all along at how committed she is at giving her best in all challenging situations. Way to go girl!
Jordyn's Last Field Day and Cedar Ridge
Field day and Cedar Ridge have been milestones marking the end of an elementary career as a Tiger for many years. This year was no exception for Jordyn. Like her big sister, she was also chosen as the girl representative from her class to play in the staff versus 5th grade kickball game, with the entire school watching. This took place following the 5th grade cookout, which occurred the second to last day of school.
She has learned so much, made amazing friends and has collected an infinite amount of memories she'll cherish forever. Goodbye, my everyday co-pilot. I'm now officially solo.
Final 5th Grade Moments for Jordyn
Jordyn finished her final year as a Tully Tiger with all As, a Presidential Award and an Oustanding in Art recognition. She is strong, determined, hard working and kind. We are so proud of her! She's a middle schooler now!
