Winter Storm 2009

More than 500,000 people in the State of KY without power...
Over 3,000 electric company crewmen on the ground working to restore electricity.
The Hawkins... Well, we were lucky. We only lost power from 12:00 p.m. on Wed, January 28th with it being restored by 3:00 a.m. on Thursday.

The picture of Marty and the girls was on Wednesday night... black-out night. The girls thought it was really cool, sleeping by candlelight, all bundled up, in Mommy & Daddy's bed. I didn't sleep a wink!

Sunday Afternoon

This week Mommy had to head out of town for a sales conference in Raleigh, NC. They were dearly missed. But, the girls had a great time with Grammy and Poppy, while giving Daddy a rest.

This weekend we met up with Mamaw & Papaw and joined them for some shopping and lunch.

The girls love spending their Sunday afternoons "chillin" at home; playing downstairs--- they LOVE their play room. And, Mommy & Daddy do too! :-)

Weekend Fun!

Last weekend we took the girls to "Incredible Dave's." They loved it! It was their first time going. They especially loved the jumpies and bowling with their best bud, Braedon. It was fun for Marty, Nick, Whitney and I because it gave all three kids a night of entertainment!
