Happy New Year!

We had such a great time getting dressed up and going out on the town...Etown that is, last night. Uncle Aaron’s bar had a 1920’s themed Prohibition Party to ring in the new year, so naturally we wouldn’t miss it. We enjoyed time with family while the kids hung out with Grammy and Poppy eating Steak and Shake, watching movies and playing board games. 2018... we’re ready.  Praise God for all of our many blessings. Cheers to a new year!

Happy 13th Raelee!

Friday we had a great time watching Raelee’s surprised look when she walked into Mellow Mushroom, expecting to eat with just us, but seeing her grandparents, aunts, uncles and cousins all there to celebrate with her. We began the afternoon with just her and I getting nails done at Lulu’s, headed to the mall to American Eagle and walking around for a bit before heading to dinner. She received so many beautiful things from Mamaw and Papaw for her new room (including a stand up mirror), infinity earrings, a North Face jacket and Vera Bradley backpack from Grammy and Poppy, and gift cards and money. She had a great day for sure. She already reveived her futon couch for the foot of her bed from us early, so her new room would be complete for her friend party. She’s entering the teenage years in style and with a group of people who truly love and support her.  Happy Birthday baby!
