The past few days have been challenging to say the least. While getting back into a routine came more naturally than I suspected, I do miss spending all day with the little man. It seems as if he's grown an inch every night when I get home from work. I'm planning to head to Charleston, WV on Friday to conduct interviews and will be traveling overnight for the first time next week- headed to Morgantown, WV. I remind myself that this is "life" and just "part of it" and that while I love what I do, I do this for my family.
This past Friday, Jordyn got her ears pierced! She was so brave and they look adorable in her little ears. Like big sis, she chose gold balls as her first pair of earrings.
Jordyn's first soccer practice was Monday night. While she seemed to be enjoying herself, Marty and I couldn't figure out why she was doing karate punches out on the field. Weird. This will make her first game on Saturday very interesting.
Daddy runs his first BIG distance race this Saturday- the Papa John's 10-Miler. Due to Jordyn's game, the kids and I will not be there, but we'll be cheering him on from the YMCA.
