Raelee the Artist!

Raelee is an exceptional artist.  We've known this for quite some time.  Here she is with her Derby Poster drawing that was selected from her school to represent 2nd grade at the Derby Museum.  Her poster, along with many others from around the state, were on display to the public in the months of January and February.  Way to go Raelee!

Playdough for Play Time

I try to keep things as new as I possibly can for Mason everyday.  So, I don't bring out the same things over and over again. So, I may bring out a different coloring book and crayons one day, download a new app on the iPod, or like today, brought out the playdough and cookie cutters.  He enjoyed this quite a bit!

It's Nearly Summer... The Pool Says So!

Memorial Day is the best day to kick off summer as the pool opens and everyone is ready to spend more time outdoors.  The girls had their friend, Morgan, spend the night on Sunday.  Following a cookout at Josh and Alecea's house, we headed home so they could party all night.  Mason didn't handle the crowd very well, very long.  We think he just wanted to be a better part of the mix, but just couldn't.  Poor little guy.  Monday morning, we woke up with pancakes and had to wait a long four hours before the pool opened.  Daddy stayed home with little man as Mommy took the girls over to the pool for a few hours.  They had a blast.  The weather was perfect.  The water was too cold for me to handle, but the kids didn't seem to mind the temperature one bit!

Bikes & Trikes per Poppy!

Saturday was a fun day in Etown as the kids participated in the first annual Bikes, BBQ and Blues Festival per Poppy's leadership. The kids enjoyed rock climbing, listening to music, a little bike trike and visiting with family.  It was a beautiful day!
