Mommy / Raelee Day!

As of yesterday evening, Jordyn is spending two nights with Grammy and Poppy.  While Raelee and I have been busy getting the house ready, food purchased and games ready for Aunt Annie's baby shower this weekend, we did take a little break this afternoon and headed to the pool.  These close-up shots are very telling...YIKES!  Tonight, while Daddy is working late and Mason is in bed, we are curling up, watching HOP, and enjoying a little R&R.

Tuesday, Mason decided to chase Raelee around the house.  In doing so, he had an encounter with the corner of the wall in our kitchen.  It definitely left a mark...

Carnival Fascination...Cruise 2012

Sunday, July 29th, we left the house at 5:00 a.m. to head to Jacksonville, FL to board the Carnival Fascination for five nights, six days.  First, Mommy had the dreaded drop-off of little man at Grammy and Poppy's.  While I knew he would be well taken care of by Grammy, Poppy, Mamaw and Papaw, I knew we'd miss him terribly.  After dropping Mason off, we hit the road for an 11 1/2 hour journey to Jacksonville.  We stayed at the Holiday Inn Express just a few miles from Jaxport.  We arrived around 5:00 p.m. EST in Jacksonville, had dinner, spent the night and woke the next morning to be shuttled to Jaxport where the fun would begin.  It was a rainy start on Monday, July  30th to our vacation, but overall the weather was perfect, the food was good, the stops were beautiful and the girls had a blast.  Here are a few pics that capture some our favorite moments.
