Final Field Day at Tully

So many "lasts" at Tully this week for Raelee.  It was funny to think her 65 pound self could anchor anything; especially when it comes to tug of war. But she's determined which is more than half the battle. The kids had a great time today!  I feel so blessed that I get to experience these moments with the kiddos.

Mason Graduates Preschool

We're experiencing a weeks worth of milestones in the Hawkins house. Last night, Mason was promoted from preschool. He has five more days of preschool and then off with us for summer!  Before we know it August will be here. He did an awesome job on stage, silly facial movements and all!  He is a cool little man. Afterwards we celebrated at Chubby Rays for dinner where they also served cupcakes for the kids. Here are some favorite moments.

Raelee's 5th Grade Field Trip

I still can't believe our girl is headed to middle school (trying not to think about it too much). Raelee and 119 or so of her closest friends headed to Cedar Ridge for their 5th grade field trip yesterday.  They canoed, experienced archery, fished and played ga ga ball. They had a blast!  Her teacher, also my friend, was able to snap some pics throughout the day. 😀

Great Weekend!

To celebrate the end of testing, Friday night we headed to Fiesta Time Amigos which Mason calls the "chip hat place" for supper. It was so nice to sit outside and enjoy the beautiful weather given its been like Seattle around here the last few weeks.  Next, we went to the newly opened Broad Run Park which was gorgeous!  We will definitely be spending time there this summer since it's less than 10 minutes from home. Saturday, we hit the local festival so Mason could see the cars and all three could ride some rides. Then, we caught the matinee and saw The Jungle Book which was really good. Mason had a soccer game and did great on Sunday.  I had to miss it since Raelee had her last swim practice at the same time, so daddy videoed a couple segments. It was busy as always but now we're into the final two track meets, cheer tryouts and nearing the end of school for summer. Almost there!
