What a beautiful day we had on Sunday. After a very long winter, we received a tease with a 77-degree day. With the exception of Jordyn and Mason, the rest of us managed to actually get sun burned. Due to the wind, we kept Mason in his bouncy seat in the garage as the wind managed to be blocked in there. He loved it. He was out there for several hours and never even wimpered. I think he enjoyed the sunshine.
One interesting thing happened... as we were playing (and the girls discovered that they could "color" the tree with a dandelion) a small yellow and blue bird flew in the garage and landed right in front of Mason's seat... staring at him. The bird was obviously not afraid of people as he attempted many times to land on my shoulder. I soon realized... this was someone's pet.
A day at home... it was nice. Given the very long week I had had traveling with work, it was nice to kick back and enjoy the day with family.
