Like Twins at Times
The girls are currently going through an interesting phase. They wear the same size in clothes, same size shoes, and even have the same loose tooth! Let's hope EVERYTHING does not work out at the same time as they grow up or Daddy and Mason may be moving out!
License to Drive...or So He Thinks
Every time the kids go to Grammy and Poppy's house they get to hop in the lap of the driver and cruise down the quiet, Lincoln Road. Mason was no exception last weekend as he too, took the wheel. Needless to say...thank goodness for insurance!
Marty surprised me last Friday night as he had a bag packed, arranged for the kids to spend the night with his parents, and had a whole evening planned. After we dropped off the kids, we headed downtown where we checked in at the Galt House. After settling in, we walked up to Osaka for sushi. We then headed to a bourbon and wine tasting shop, ending the evening at the hotel bar and a nice relaxing evening to ourselves. The next morning we ate breakfast at Toast and shopped around before heading home and to Etown for Mother's Day. This sure beat a 2 year old with a broken femur and spending the night at Kosair, which is where we were for our 2013 Mother's Day. Much better!
