Mason's First Haircut
After the girls took TWO hours of gymnastics this morning (they tried a new tumbling class and loved it,) we met Daddy at Kid-O-Cuts in Middletown for Mason's first haircut. While ownership has changed, this is where the girls went for their first haircuts. They take their picture, save a lock of hair and provide you with a certificate. Super cute! Mason was not loving it, but we got through it. He looks like a little boy, more officially, now.
What an appetite!
Yes, we are still amazed by Mason's appetite. We picked Mason up some chicken nuggets when we left McD's on Wed. He ate five chicken nuggets, several french fries, and two fruit cups. Seriously. I can't imagine the grocery bill when he's a teenager!
Is it February?
We have had crazy, unseasonable weather lately. And... we took advantage of it on Wed. While Daddy was at work, and Mason was at daycare, I took the girls to the local McD's to play outside; yes, outside. As you can see here, they were even in short sleeves!

Go Bulldogs!
Last night while Mommy was in class, Daddy took the kids to see the girls' school basketball team play. Raelee said, "Mommy they played pretty good... they got a lot of good shoots." Yes, "shoots."
They seemed to have a great time! Tomorrow night is their skating party. This time, Mommy will take the girls while Daddy stays home with little man.
This week has been a little intimidating to say the least, relative to classes. But, I'm sure I will get through it and look forward a little lighter load in the summer. Papers already coming due and enormous lesson plans to begin...good times.

Slumber Party!
Raelee had her first official sleepover on Friday night. Grace, a friend from dance class, came over around suppertime and the girls enjoyed cookies, a popcorn fight, movies and just playing. They had a blast! The next morning, Mommy flew solo getting all four kiddos out the door in time for 10 a.m. gymnastics, after taking Grace home. The girls loved gymnastics. We tried an introductory class on Saturday morning and plan to stay a little longer this weekend to test drive the tumbling class. After class, we headed to Etown to see Mamaw, Papaw and Great Mamaw before heading back home to eat pizza with Josh, Alecea, Aaron, Melissa, Jackson and Kennedy. Needless to say...Saturday was a busy one. The girls headed to Mr. Matt & Miss Carey's house to play with Paige and Morgan for the afternoon after church yesterday. They love playing with those girls and have such an awesome time together.
Today, Mommy is back to grind and back to school. I start Science Methods tonight at 6:00. Here we go again!
