It is no secret our kid's teeth will not fall out of their heads. This morning was no exception. Jordyn had a tooth pulled with a root on it I still cannot get over!

Happy 9th Birthday Raelee!
It's hard to believe Raelee is 9! Where has the time gone? This year it was time for her to upgrade to a bigger bike so that is just what we did! It is a crazy month of December but sort of cool having 28th and 29th birthdays!
Happy 3rd Birthday Mason
Mason had a great birthday as Mommy and Daddy took him to Toys r Us to pick out new toys. He chose more octonauts and toy story figurines!

Christmas Day 2013
The kids had a GREAT Christmas! Raelee's favorite gift was her art set, Jordyn's was her Makenna wheel chair set and gymnastics mat, and Mason's was his car track and octonauts set. Mommy got a Samsung Galaxy and Daddy got a Makers Mark whiskey barrel top with his name on it. We are so blessed this holiday season and look forward to what's in store in 2014.
Christmas Eve 2013
As always it was a fun-filled Christmas Eve. We began our morning at Mamaw and Papaw's house for brunch and presents. Then, we headed over to Grandma and Grandpa Bugles for more food, fun and even a little time with Mr. C

What a Run!
Today, Uncle Aaron, Daddy and Mommy all ran the Louisville Sports Commission Mini Marathon this morning. It was full of hills! Mommy didn't do her best nor did she break any personal records. However, we all finished! That's what counts!
Fun in the Leaves!
Yesterday, the kids had a blast "helping" daddy rake up the leaves. I think there was a little more play, than work.
A Spooky Halloween it Was!
We were happy to hear the news that many neighborhoods (including our's) decided to postpone trick or treating from Thursday to Friday night due to the gusty winds and crazy rain. The kids had a blast! We had a witch, a bride of frankenstien, a pirate, a boy scout with his "gramps," an elmo and a bumblebee.

Daddy/Daughter Time at the UofL Game
Because Uncle Josh was busy taking care of Aunt Alecea and new baby girl, Davis, he wasn't able to attend the UofL football game Friday night. That left Daddy and Jordyn "stuck" with the tickets and a platinum parking pass. Jordyn is always such a trooper. Despite the cold, she toughed it out through a tough loss for the Cards.
Raelee Runs a Rainy-Day Race
Saturday was Raelee's final race of the all-star season before the state meets on the 26th. She has worked hard this season and should be so proud of what she's accomplished in just a short 11 weeks of running. I can't wait to see what she'll be able to do next season!
Thanks to Mamaw, Grammy and Poppy for toughing it through the rain, mud and overall nasty day. She appreciates your support, and so do we!

Welcome Davis Leigh!
We welcomed a new niece into the world on Tuesday around 11:25 a.m. Baby Davis weighed in at 8 lbs even and was 21 inches long. Mommy and baby are doing great. Cousin Kiki is getting used the idea of having a little baby around, but she won't have an opportunity to deny her for long. Davis looks just like Kennedy!

Raelee Made All-Stars!
Since Raelee made Tully's All-Star Cross Country Team, we have still been running (literally and figuratively.)
She is enjoying it so much which makes the three-time-a-week practices and cross country meets on Saturdays, all well worth it! Jordyn is still super into gymnastics and recently nailed her back walk-over. It's only a matter of time; I'm afraid that one will be getting into competitive gymnastics. Watch out! We'll have to hire a professional shoffer when Mason gets older! :-)

Raelee Runs in the JCPS Chamionship!
This morning Raelee ran a 3k (1.84) miles in the JCPS Cross Country Championship Race. She did awesome and passed several girls at the end as she sprinted to the finish line!
Happy Birthday Jordyn!
It's hard to believe that 7 years ago Monday, Jordyn Makenna was born. I remember when she was born, eyes wide open! What a joy she has been!

Raelee Runs Her First Race!
We were all nervous as we waited for the announcer to call for all third-grade girls at the Field Invitational Cross Country Meet at the Water Reservoir on Friday night. Raelee did awesome! She ran her little heart out and it's a joy to watch!
