Camp Cedarmore 2018
Today was a big day for the Hawkins. Our two big girls left for the first time to church camp. They have never spent more than two nights away from home, so this was a big deal. They owned the overwhelming job of packing for their journey, left their cell phones behind, and loaded two church vans, with 60+ others for the hour drive to Baghdad. They’re growing up on us for sure!

VBS “Game On” 2018
Mason has enjoyed VBS so much! There wasn’t an older sister this time to show him the ropes, but he did awesome. He loved the boys vs girls missions challenge and didn’t mind dunking Mr Cameron in the end. He was so proud of his crafts and wasn’t a bit shy to show off his singing and dance moves on stage.

So proud of this kiddo!
Raelee & Logan
It’s not everyday you find your friend “soul mate” but I believe these two have a super cool connection. They are very similar in their views on things of the teenage world. They are laid back, even keel and are easily entertained. I hope their friendship continues to grow and they stay good buddies through high school’s trials, where they will finally be in the same school. So far this summer, Logan has stayed with us for a “double sleepover” twice. We don’t mind a bit as she truly fits right in. This past time it was swimming with Jordyn and her friend Kayla, movies and helping the girls prepare for church camp. Their schedules are about to get super busy so...until next time!
