The Lord protected our kiddos last night, and today I have prayed numerous times, thanking Him for that. Raelee and her boyfriend, Caleb Cowan, were enjoying a beautiful evening having dinner and a stroll on the walking bridge, downtown. This picture was taken at 8:30 pm, and they continued walking further after that. At 9:05, police received a call of a shooting that took place “near the Big Four Bridge”.
Praise God for uncomfortable shoes and Raelee’s urge for some ice cream, as their original plan was to walk to the Indiana side.
While I rarely dwell in the “what if’s” and “if only’s”, it’s a time where it’s hard not to. But more than that, it’s a time where I thank God for sparing these two sweet souls and am reminded that He speaks to us often. Always listen and let’s be honest- choose to go for ice cream.
