Jordyn and University of Kentucky Cheer Camp

Our die hard UofL fan headed to the UCA Cheer Camp, hosted at UofK in mid July for four nights. To say she learned a ton, worked hard, and had fun would all be under statements. 15-hour days and lots of cheering led to an exhausted 12-year old and no voice left when we picked her up. We are so proud of the kindness and spirit she showed that week as she was awarded the Pin It Forward. It’s for girls that show amazing leadership, spirit and positivity. She was the only one from her team that received the award and was chosen by UCA Staff. On Friday, she pinned it on another cheerleader, passing it on to a girl she met while at church camp just a few weeks prior. So happy for her and the hopeful season she’ll have as an 8th-grader.
