Back to School 2017

Hard to believe Aug 9th we sent our 1st, 6th and 7th graders all back to school!  Mason was so excited when he learned that he had Mrs Edwards again, Jordyn was ready to rip off the bandaid and get middle school underway, and I think Raelee was excited to see her friends. Since school has started the girls have been busy with cheer three times a week and XC practices and meets. Mason is working to earn his first badge as a Tiger and thinking about starting basketball at church with Upward.  Mommy started school on Aug 16th and has an awesome class of 29. This year Bullitt County started a chromebook initiative where all middle and high school students receive a chromebook where files and assignments are all managed through google drive and google classroom. Jordyn had a rough start as her chromebook had issues connecting to the internet at home. However, we got it fixed last week!  Raelee, had a bit of a chromebook tragedy when her own personal laptop and a kid with a locker had an encounter. He swung open his locker while her chromebook hung from her wrist in its case. She went to class, opened it and the screen was completely pixelated. She was so upset. At this point it's off to Samsung in hopes of a repair!  

We are so proud at how well these kids transition and look forward to them rockin out another school year!
