The Monday after the Super Bowl was a snow day due to more snow and ice. Tuesday of this week, we DID go to school for a change but today we were out again, due to freezing rain last night. So far, they are saying that JCPS is "planning to attend" tomorrow. Yet we have thousands in Louisville without power, including some schools, and below freezing temperatures that I'm sure will not bode well for the roads. And slick roads and buses do not mix. We're over the snow days, though, as we know this only means less time at the pool in June... or at this rate, July, when we finally get out of school! We are trying to make the most of it though so on Monday we headed outside for some driveway shoveling, sledding, and to build a very sad little snowman.
The girls went with the Murphy's neighborhood sledding on Monday afternoon. Here is a link to a video Matt put together of them having a GREAT time!
