So, Daddy talked Mommy into running her first 5k on Saturday, June 4th. He coached Mommy into finishing in 29.34... not too shameful but not something to shout from the rooftops about either. At least I finished!
The girls participated in Mt Zion Baptist Church's Heartland Festival Parade float which placed 3rd! The girls were asked to pose as "students." Mamaw, Daddy, Mommy & Mason waited patiently toward the end of the parade for them to come by...needless to say they were pooped!
Afterward, we headed to the pool for a few hours and then met friends (Grance from dance class) at Mike Linnigs to play and eat. As always, the weekend was eventful. Since then, we've continued to stay very busy. Raelee is enrolled in the Johnson's summer program at Mt. Carmel and Jordyn attends J2, preparing her with the basics before she starts Kindergarten in August. Mason is officially sleeping through the night although I feel as if I'm "jinxing" it just by typing it! He's been such a blessing to our family as he's the happiest little guy I've ever seen. This weekend will be busy too, so stay tuned for pics!
